About the Role
Tavas is seeking a specialist in Generative AI and Agentic Systems to redefine how users and systems interact with energy grids. This is a cutting-edge role where you will build the "connective tissue" that allows our system to think and act. You will use LLMs to create the intelligent interface between our users, our EMS, and external data sources.
Key Objectives
- Agentic Workflows: Design and build systems where AI acts as an autonomous intermediary, orchestrating actions between the EMS, external APIs, and data sources.
- Natural Language Interfaces: Develop intuitive interfaces that allow users to manage complex grid operations using natural language, powered by LLMs.
- Production Implementation: Utilize Google’s Vertex AI and Agent Development Kit (ADK) to build robust, scalable agents that move beyond prototypes into production.
- Innovation & R&D: Lead the research into how Generative AI can solve complex interoperability problems in the energy sector.
Career Trajectory
This is a pivotal role with a clear path to leadership. You will define the roadmap for our GenAI capabilities, set the standards for agentic architecture, and will grow into a Team Lead role as the company scales.
Who You Are
- You understand the architecture of AI Agents—specifically regarding planning, reasoning, and tool use (function calling).
- You are deeply plugged into the latest AI developments (RAG, Vector DBs) and are eager to apply them to a real-world physical industry.
- You have experience with Google’s GenAI stack; familiarity with the Agent Development Kit (ADK) is highly preferred.
- You have a "Builder Mentality", you enjoy the dynamic nature of a startup and want to set the standards for how we do ML, rather than following rigid corporate processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
